Mixed-Age Kindergarten

Please note: Enrollment for the 2025-26 Mixed-Age Kindergarten is full with a wait list.

Enrollment applications for the 2026-27 school year will be accepted between November 1st - December 31st for Priority Enrollment (In-House and Alumni Families) and starting on January 1st for the general community.

A $100 deposit is required to submit a new application.

• All applicants must come for a tour of the Mixed-Age Kindergarten with the child when applying. Please email our office to set up a time.*

• To align with Connecticut’s updated state guidelines (as of July 1, 2023), children must be at least 3 years old by September 1st to enroll in Westbrook Nature School’s Mixed-Age Kindergarten Program. 

Following the state’s cutoff date helps maintain consistency with local school systems and supports a smooth transition for families as children grow. 

• Confirmation of enrollment will be made by email in January.

• Upon acceptance, a non-refundable enrollment deposit will be required to secure the child’s place in the class.

• Westbrook does maintain a waitlist once our enrollment is full.

Applicants placed on the waitlist will be notified via email.

Westbrook Nature School is a CT OEC (Office of Early Childhood) licensed program. All children are required to be compliant with state health & immunization requirements.
