Westbrook Nature School is a non-profit 501 c3. Our mission is to return vitality and joy to the young child’s educational experience by providing a dynamic natural environment that fulfills a child’s fundamental need for exploration and discovery. Through their deepening relationship with nature, we guide the child toward resilience, balance, and social growth.
We rely on our fundraisers, grants and donations to bring this experience to life. Here are some ways you can support Westbrook and contribute to our mission:
- 50/50 Raffle - This year the proceeds will go towards a specific project, The Westbrook Bridge Renovation. Help save our bridge! As the children's gateway to the woods, river and exploring, this bridge is near and dear to our hearts! The renovation, set for the summer of 2023, will include the restructuring and reinforcement of the bridge. Let’s help keep the bridge, we all adore, sturdy for many years to come. - Online Silent Auction - This year our Silent Auction will be live from March 21st - 23rd, 2023. Westbrook's Annual Online Auction is our biggest and most anticipated fundraiser. With generous donations from our parents, the community and our teachers and staff, we are excited to share a variety of unique and meaningful gifts, adventures and services with you! This fundraiser will help to continue to provide financial aid for families in need as well as cover expenses for projects in both the Kindergarten and Parent-Child Programs. One of our main missions is to provide access to nature-based education to all families regardless of their socioeconomic status.
- Westbrook Gear - Get your gear on with Westbrook Tee's and Onesies! We also have car magnets, water bottle stickers and more for sale at our school. Stop by to shop in person or call us to set aside your choice of size (infant, child, adult) and color. Check out our online shop for more!
- Donate - As a non-profit we appreciate every volunteer, donation, fundraising dollar and gift to our mission and our school.
