Westbrook Alumni Summer Camp 2025 (Explorers: 6 – 8 year olds)

We are excited to announce that Ms. Thayer is once again offering summer camp to Westbrook Kindergarten Alumni in 2025!

For our 6 – 8 year old explorers, camp will run from Monday, July 7th – July 11th from 9am – 1pm. Activities will include fire building, handcrafting of tools, theater and storytelling, fort and shelter building, animal tracking, bird call identification, crafting, gardening, and of course, time for exploration.

All activities are designed to be held outdoors, in all weather, the Westbrook way! However, we will move inside in the event of extreme weather.

When: Monday, July 7th – Friday July, 11th

Time: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

Where: Westbrook Nature School

Who: Kindergarten Alumni, ages 6 to 8. (Your child must turn six by the start of camp and be a Westbrook Kindergarten alumnus.)

Details: Campers should come dressed each day to be outside, in all weather, with a change of clothes, a NUT-FREE lunch that includes an ice pack, and a reusable water bottle. 

Deposit: $125 / Per Child (to be billed through Procare once you have registered)

Camp Cost: $325 / Per Child ($200 balance due by the end of June)

Important info: Children must be alumni of our Mixed-Age Kindergarten Program to attend. Children must be age 6 by the start of camp to attend the 6-8 year old camp in June. If you wish to have siblings attend camp together, please register them for the younger siblings age group. (Younger siblings may not join the older age group if they are not age 9 by the start of camp week.)

We understand that plans change! However, last minute cancellations make it challenging for us to manage our waitlist. Refunds made by request are available up until 5 business days prior to the start of the program. Beyond that, no refunds will be given unless the spot can be filled from the waitlist. A $25 processing fee will be deducted from all requested refunds.
